Some call him The Godfather and think he’s a Godsend. Others find him very offensive and harsh towards black women. But if you ask me…. I think he is a necessary voice for both men and women. I hate that so many get caught up in how a thing is said that they miss the wisdom of what is being said.
I see him as a herald calling us back to the traditional roles of men and women. There’s a reason why marriages of previous generations withstood the test of time. But in order to do so, it takes tearing do the strongholds of lies about women not needing men, hearing what men are actually thinking, and exposing our delusions. It hurts to hear and it’s unfortunate that we’ve come to a place in time where we need a John the Baptist style messenger to tell us age-old common sense.
