Unapologetically Pro-Life.
For most of my life, I was indifferent to abortions. That was until I began to draw closer to God, pay more attention to what was happening politically, and began to view things from a biblical perspective rather than what I was told and my feelings.
My experience giving birth to my firstborn child was the most eye-opening experience that I had, which provided insight into the corruption in healthcare as it relates to the Black community. In the video below, I read a chapter from my book about my experience and what I learned about the abortion industry and its impact on my community.
LET’S TALK SOLUTIONS:
Pro-life advocates are criticized for not providing solutions for women bringing children into the world while facing economic hardships. To the world, the pro-life community is simply pro-unborn and they have a hard time understanding how we can advocate for children to be born into a world and into families where they may inevitably suffer.
But how might a woman’s decision be different if she had an army of women not only telling her she can make it but helping her make it? What if there were policies and systems in place that equipped her to support her family and unborn child after birth? What if she knew that she was being prayed for and supported instead of feeling condemned?
